  50 to 150 mile, depending on the anticipation of what is on the other end of the fishing line.

  Of course, I would like the fishing- buddy to be compatible with myself. Let me describe myself: I am a US Navy Veteran, stanch Republican, and all of my views are conservative and I stand for the national anthem. During the summer of 2017 my boat was in the Malvern Lake Marina at the dock, so no launching required. But now, I am interested in some winter fishing (but not when it is too cold) and presently my boat is on the trailer near Clinton, MO area and I am interested in having a fishing-buddy capable of help with launching the boat, the fishing-buddy needs to be able to back up a vehicle and boat trailer to assist in launching the boat. I am interested in fishing in Warsaw. MO at the bottom of the Truman dam, or Truman lake, or Stockton lake, and will take recommendations. I will consider taking extended trips to places like: Wilson, KS (lake is infested with Walley), Lake Erie, I have taken a 3- day trip to Lake Erie this past summer and landed lots of Walley (including a 28” Walley). Expenses should be reasonable split. Option - If a parent wants to take a son (or daughter), grandson, granddaughter with them for a fishing trip, I am Ok with that. But I request the son (or daughter) be old enough to be interested in fishing. No first timer kids please who are just starting to think about the fishing for the first time. My fishing experiences. I use to fish on Lake Erie 30 years ago. I have been fly fishing for the last 25 years. (trout are not really good for the frying pan). So let me try some boat fishing. I am a beginner with the boat fish game again. Boat; this is a 22’- 11” Crestline- with good gunnels so we won’t fall off. I got this boat also for the safety of my grandkids to be safe. I have four (4) seats. I have a main motor and a kicker motor for trolling. In addition, I have an electric motor on the bow that can be controlled by a controller or foot peddle. There are two fish finders with lots of electronics. If the fishing-buddy has good skills with fishing finders, all the better. A canopy is available if necessary to keep the sun or rain off. By preference is 3 persons max.
