I've been fly fishing for 30+ years. I moved to Southern Nevada 20+ years ago and had to say goodbye to my last regular fishing buddy.
The frequency of my time on quality waters has suffered...living in Southern Nevada...but I have explored what Utah has to offer from time to time. Ideally I'm looking for a fellow fly fisher
familiar or interested in rivers and streams in central Utah (e.g., around the Circleville or Fish Lake region)...including but not limited to quality waters and barbless hook restrictions. I'll
consider Southern Utah waters (e.g., Walnut Creek, Sevier River and tributaries), but there's a lot of pressure on those streams and rivers. I'm not restricted to weekends....in fact would prefer to
spend time on the water when most folks are working weekdays, etc. I don't mind driving up from Southern Nevada and spending a few days on the water as long as there's a decent cafe and motel nearby.
I'm left handed...and have found that to be an advantage when fishing with most folks....as we can both work our way upstream from different sides of the water. My ideal day of fly fishing is working
a small to mid-sized freestone river with 10-14" trout interested in my dropper rig.
